A series of earrings combining nerikomi clay and metallic gold and silver snowflakes .
The earrings are made with white earthenware clay which is coloured and then made into patterns together in the Japanese Nerikomi tradition. the beads are decorated and kiln fired several times with glazes and overglaze decals. They are all made by me in my studio here in Waterford, each pair singularly individual. The earrings have a 5.5 to 6.5cm drop including the ear wires, the size in each variant is the size of the bead.
The earring are drop earrings and the fixings on the earrings are silver plated. They can be changed out for sterling silver, surgical steel or stainless steel ear hooks, for extra cost please contact me or add in. The weight mentioned of 40g includes packing materials, the earrings themselves are elegant and light.
